Hello and welcome to the relaunch of Underground Music Monthly.  I originally launched the site in 1996, and for the past several years it has been located at MissionMan.net/UndergroundMusicMonthly/ .  I have left the original version of the site up there if you prefer to see it that way.  This version utilizes asp, and other visual developer abilities to create a page that's easier to maintain and less likely to have broken links, with a more consistent look and feel. 

When I originally launched the site, it was because I felt as though the best music should make it's way to music fans everywhere, not the music with the best marketing behind it.  Much has changed since I launched the site.  Napster was launched, then shut down for being illegal, then relaunched.  Myspace and Facebook have been created, and a myriad of things have happened in between. 

I have tried to organize this site as well as possible.  It's meant to be a catch all guide for independent musicians.  I have left some information out as it is no longer current.  I will be adding new content as I have it as well, and I may even relaunch the magazine, especially if I start learning some ajax controls and other cool web development applications.  In the meantime, enjoy the information.

Just a little about me.  My name is Gary Milholland.  My stage name is Mission Man, and I've been rapping since 1992.  I love making music, and this site is designed for others who love music as much as I do.  Thank you for stopping by, and I wish you great luck in accomplishing your dreams, and more importantly, I hope this site gives you more time to concentrate on making music, learning from that music, and loving every moment along the way.
