Introduction to Issue 3

Welcome to the third issue of Underground Music Monthly. As the seasons change, so will my format for the e~zine. You still access UMM from the main page, and it will most likely always be that way, simply because it's easy to remember where something is if it doesn't move. The main change will be that instead of having the entire issue on one page, I will have the table of contents, the introduction, and a soundclip to download on the first page. After that, each article will be on its own page. This makes things slightly more complicated for me, but I'm hoping it will decrease the total time it takes to process the page. I might change back to the old format if the new one doesn't work very well. I just figure I'll be having more graphics in each issue, and the quicker each individual article loads, the better. Also, you might not have the time to read the entire e~zine in one sitting, and I don't want to make you wait while the first 5 articles load if you have already read them and only need to read the 6th article or something like that. Sorry this issue is so small, by the way. I had 3 or 4 days where I had a lot of time to work on the e~zine, but the Geocities server was down for those days.

I have a homepage with a list of links to all the musicians I've interviewed or reviewed in any of my issues of UMM, and you can get there by clicking on the following banner:
